All of our garments are designed in Sydney Australia. We print each item to order, helping us reduce waste, and minimise our environmental footprint. All orders are typically printed and dispatched within 3-4 business days from order.

Product Details

All of our shirts feel soft and lightweight, with the just right amount of stretch. Our shirts are manufactured using ring-spun cotton giving them a beautifully soft finish. All graphics are printed using Kornit eco-friendly, water-based inks.

• 100% combed and ring-spun cotton (Heather colours contain polyester)

• Heather colours are 52% combed and ring-spun cotton, 48% polyester

• Athletic and Black Heather are 90% combed and ring-spun cotton, 10% polyester

• Fabric weight: 4.2 oz (142 g/m2)

Our t-shirts are unisex sizing, so women may want to order a size down for a tight fit or order your normal size for a looser, casual fit.

Typical shipping time is 5-7 business days. Low stock items may be fulfilled from one of our international fulfillment partners, in which case the delivery time will be slightly longer. Confirm details at checkout. See our delivery page for further information.

What’s your return policy?

We offer a 30-day money back guarantee. If there is something wrong with your order please let us know by contacting us at info@notroses.com.au

Please note: we do not offer returns on any item that is on sale. This only includes items with shown discounted prices. Any item bought with a coupon discount code can be returned for a refund or exchange as normal.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes we offer a 30-day money back guarantee. If you received wrong items, ordered an incorrect size or received damaged items, or are just not happy with your purchase, please contact us at info@notroses.com.au with photos of wrong/damaged items (where applicable) and we’ll sort that out for you.

Where do I send my return?

Our return address is 4/43 Bond St, Maroubra NSW 2035. Please contact us via email before mailing your return

Can I exchange an item for a different size/colour?

Yes, we offer one (1) exchange for wrong size items up to thirty (30 days from receiving your order . If you’re unsure which size will fit you best, please check out our sizing charts—we have one for every item listed on our store, in the product description / product images section. Please note that the cost of shipping for returned and exchanged items is payable by the customer. Though rare, it's possible that an item you ordered was mislabelled. If that’s the case, please let us know at info@notroses.com.au within a week after receiving your order. Include your order number and photos of the mislabeled item, and we’ll send you a new one, or issue a refund.

Return Policy

Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 30 days after the product has been received. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 4 weeks after the estimated delivery date. Claims deemed an error on our part are covered at our expense.

When we receive a returned shipment, an automated email notification will be sent to you. Unclaimed returns get donated to charity after 4 weeks.

Wrong Address - If you provide an address that is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to our facility. You will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you (if and as applicable).

Unclaimed - Shipments that go unclaimed are returned to our facility and you will be liable for the cost of a reshipment to yourself.

Not Roses does not accept returns of:

1. Sealed goods, such as but not limited to face masks, which are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons. You hereby agree that any returned orders with face masks won’t be available for reshipping and will be disposed of.

2. Gift cards.

Notification for EU consumers: According to Article 16(c) and (e) of the Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on consumer rights, the right of withdrawal may not be provided for:

1. the supply of goods that are made to the consumer's specifications or are clearly personalised.

2. sealed goods which were unsealed after delivery and thus aren't suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, therefore Not Roses reserves rights to refuse returns at its sole discretion.



This Policy shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the English language, regardless of any translations made for any purpose whatsoever.

Garment Printing

What type of ink do you use? 

Our garments are printed using a Direct to Garment (DTG method). We use Kornit water-based and NeoPigment inks that are Oeko-Tex™ certified, which means they are safe to print on children’s clothing and reduce environmental waste. These inks provide a high washing colorfast AATCC rating of 4 

Why does my shirt have a vinegar smell? 

When unpacking a new shirt or hoodie with a direct-to-garment (DTG) print, you might notice a vinegar-like smell or an off-white residue. Don't worry, that's not unusual - it's from a fixation agent applied during the printing process and it's not permanent.

Fixation agent (sometimes known as pre-treatment) is used for all DTG prints across the industry. It helps the ink bond with the fabric, and without it, the ink would flake off the garment. 

The solution is simply to wash the garment! Neither the residue nor the smell is permanent and both should go away after one wash.

How does Afterpay Work?

Afterpay lets you pay your checkout total in 4 instalments over 6 weeks. You'll pay your first instalment at the time of purchase, and the remainder every two weeks. 

Are there any fees for using Afterpay?

With interest-free instalments, the only fees are for late payments. You can find your payment schedule in the Afterpay app and we'll send you regular reminders.

Will my order be delayed if I pay with Afterpay?

There is no delay, orders ship as they would with any other form of payment.

Where are your products shipped from? 

All of our product are designed in Sydney Australia. Every item is printed to order and shipped from facilities in Australia, USA and Europe depending you your location. Australian orders will be delivered via Australia Post. US and international orders will be shipped via USPS. All orders will receive a tracking number. Orders are typically printed and dispatched within 3 business days from order.

How do I know if you can ship to my address?

We ship to most countries around the world. Usually, it takes 3–7 days to fulfill an order, after which it’s shipped out. The shipping time depends on your location, but can be estimated as follows:

  • USA: 3–4 business days
  • Europe: 6–8 business days
  • Australia: 2–14 business days
  • Japan: 4–8 business days
  • International: 10–20 business days

Returns and Exchange Policy

Do you you accept returns or exchanges? 

If you'd like to return an item we’d be happy to help! Please email us at info@notroses.com.au prior to sending your return. 

Exchanges:
These exchanges must be made within 30 days from the date you received your order. All items must be in their original condition (never worn or washed). Please pack your items with their tags and the invoice included in the original packaging.

When sending an item back for exchange, be sure to include your order number. You are allowed to exchange one time only, so please be sure to order the correct size.

    For our Graphic Tees and apparel we recommend the following:

    ✖️ Do not bleach
    ✖️ Do not dry clean
    ✖️ Do not iron over print
    ✖️ Do not tumble dry

    ✔️ Natural drying - please line dry in the shade
    ✔️ Machine wash with cold water
    ✔️ Please wash your tees inside-out using a mild detergent to preserve the print.

    Compostable Packaging

    What are they made from? 

    HEROPACKS are made from home-compostable materials, mainly corn starch and PBAT (a compostable ingredient which bonds the renewable ingredients together).

    How do you compost them? 

    To compost them at home, it’s best to remove any labels, cut them up and place in your compost bin as “brown” materials. These will completely break down within 90-120 days in a home-compostable environment - sometimes even sooner!

    These can also be sent to composting facilities to be properly broken down and composted. If you are in Australia, please CLICK HERE to find a composter near you.

    What happens if they end up in landfill?  

    The best part is that they still break down in landfill. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the landfill process, this will still add to methane production. That's why it's important to help our customers compost our products to take full advantage of the environmental benefits. Our products take about 2 years rather than 90 days to break down in landfill. In contrast, traditional plastic shipping mailers take 400 years or more to break down, and still release deadly methane gas into the atmosphere.
